Master’s degree direct Ph.D. Programs Scholarships:

The students of this department are enrolled in the doctoral class of the first-year students of the master class of this department, and they are recommended by the advisor. You can also receive a scholarship for admission to the doctoral program.

Professor Hwang, Kuo-Jen Memorial Scholarship

The Fundraising and Scholarship Committee reviews and approves the number of subsidies. The total amount of subsidies per semester is limited to NT$60,000.

The number of winners is determined by the fundraising and scholarship committee.

The scholarship is set to encourage outstanding students of the department to publish papers abroad. Graduate students and oral speakers are given priority.

1. The application time is within two weeks of the start of each semester. According to the time of the conference, the conference from October to February of the next semester is accepted, and the conference from March to September is accepted in the next semester.

2. The subsidy may include as air tickets, registration fees, living expenses, etc. The amount of subsidy is limited to NT$ 20,000 in Asian regions and NT$40,000 in non-Asian regions.

Subsidies for publishing conference papers for teachers and students

The Fundraising and Scholarship Committee reviews and approves the number of subsidies. The total amount of subsidies per semester is limited to NT$60,000.

The number of winners is determined by the fundraising and scholarship committee.

This scholarship is designed to encourage teachers and students of the department to attend the international academic conference to publish conference papers, subsidize full-time teachers, graduate students in the doctoral and master’s classes, and associate graduate students of the department. Oral reports are preferred. The subsidy may include items such as air tickets, registration fees, living expenses, etc. The amount of subsidy is limited to NT$ 20,000 in Asian regions and NT$40,000 in non-Asian regions.

Emergency relief scholarship

The Fundraising and Scholarship Committee reviewed and approved the number of subsidies. The upper limit is NT$50,000 .

1. Students who have been hospitalized for more than seven days due to injuries or have accidentally died.

2. Student parents (guardians) suffered major injuries or deaths, or suffered major accidents, which caused the family economy to be in trouble and affected the students’ study.

3. In other special cases, those in urgent need of assistance.
